My first encounter with AN\u00daNA was 22 years ago, at a record store in Ireland.
\nThe title of the piece was \u201cDeep Dead Blue\u201d
\n– also the title of an album – composed by Elvis Costello.<\/p>\n

Its distinctive harmony sung just by the singers captivated my heart straight away.
\nI thought this was no ordinary chorus group, as they had such a different sound world.
\nAlso being fascinated by Michael McGlynn\u2019s voice
\nfrom the 10th piece of the album “The Fisher King\u201d,
\nI dreamt that one day my music would be sung by them.<\/p>\n

And that finally came true after 22 years.<\/p>\n

The task for this project was how I would blend my music
\nwith the sound of AN\u00daNA which I knew so well.
\nMy whole creativity and imagination were poured into 4 pieces,
\nand I think I have managed to succeed in doing that.
\nI just cannot wait to hear the mixed pieces.<\/p>\n

I would like to thank Mr. Korematsu and
\nMs. Kawashima from Plankton for their wonderful support,
\nAnd Ms. Nozaki from MUSIC PLANT – whom I knew and have been very kind to me
\nfor 22 years\u3000- for introducing me to AN\u00daNA.
